Ferrite permanent magnets are divided into two types: isotropic and anisotropic. The manufacturing methods include dry press molding and wet press molding. Because the raw materials are cheap and mass production is easy, it is the most demanded and most versatile material on the market.
The so-called isotropic magnet is formed by fine metal particles in powder metallurgy, but without any magnetic field arrangement, it is directly formed by pressure. It can be used in a variety of magnetization methods according to customer requirements, which is less restrictive. But the disadvantage is that the magnetic flux density is weak, and some applications may not meet the magnetic force requirements set by customers.
The so-called anisotropic magnet is just the opposite of the isotropy. It uses a fine powder during molding, and uses the arrangement of high-pressure magnetic fields to make the magnetic field become a fixed axial or radial direction. The method of arranging the magnetic field during the molding process is magnetized, which cannot change the direction of magnetization that has been shaped. The advantage is that the magnetic force is strong and the coercive force is also high.
The main difference between the isotropy and anisotropy of ferrite magnet
The picture product is Y10 Isotropic ferrite rotor magnet 5.4mm inner hole
Isotropicity: 1. The raw material is granular and the size is about 3 ~ 4 μm. 2. When forming, the raw materials are not arranged by magnetization. 3. It can be magnetized in any direction. 4. Magnetize according to the thickness direction, the magnetic force is about 500 ~ 800 Gauss.
Anisotropy: 1. The raw material is in powder form with a size of about 0.85 ± 0.1 μm. 2. When molding, the powder is arranged by magnetization. 3. When magnetizing, a certain direction is required, such as axial or radial...etc. 4. Magnetized according to the thickness direction, the magnetic force is about 800 ~ 1,400 Gauss.
Ferrite and other square molded magnets: mostly single-sided magnetic force, widely used as a magnet for refrigerator suction, as one of the gift components.
Ferrite anisotropy molded magnet: two-sided magnetic force, slightly stronger, widely used, such as electronics, toys, industry, furniture, stationery, gifts, etc. can be applied, application products such as micro motors, generators, Inverter motor, iron chip separator, buzzer, magnetic tool, fastener element, sensor element, DY image adjustment, health magnetic therapy, speaker, door stop, submersible pump, automatic component, movement, magnetic suction seat, Others.
PS: The advantages of ferrite are easy magnetization, electroplating or baking paint, low cost, moderate delivery time, medium magnetic strength, single-sided or multi-polar magnetic can be produced according to customer needs, easy material acquisition, and mass production.
